Follow the M4 and turn off at Junction 29 onto the A48M. Take the fifth junction (signposted for City Centre/A470) and take the second exit off the roundabout. Continue down North Road towards the City Centre. After half a mile or so, the road forks. Take the left fork into Colum Road and continue through a set of traffic lights into Park Place. The Civic Centre will then be on your right. When you reach the traffic lights at the Museum, take the left turning into St Andrews Place, under the railway bridge, and immediately turn left into Senghenydd Road. CBTC is at the end of this road on your left, past the Sherman Theatre. At the car entrance, press the button and the receptionist will open the gates to allow on-site parking.

by rail

From Cardiff Central railway station, either take a taxi to FSC (cost ~£5) or a local train to Cathays Station, which is almost next to CBTC (FSC). At Cathays take the footbridge over the railway and into Senghenydd Road (which is incorrectly named Woodville Road on OS maps). Turn left and after a few metres you will have arrived at CBTC (which has red railings).

At the pedestrian "Visitor-Reception" entrance, press the button beside the gate to gain access.
